I would like to express a heartfelt “Thank you!” to the following people…

Celeste Winstead: If you hadn’t listened to the vision of an up-and-coming young interviewer there would probably be no FaithTalks. Your belief in me gave me the courage to follow a dream. Thank you for giving me a chance. And girl, you still give the best hugs!

Kim Fletcher and Maryanna Young: I am so humbled that, as publishers, you took an interest in my work with FaithTalks.com and published my story in Your Exceptional Life Begins Now . But way beyond that I can't believe how you have taken such a personal interest in my life and ministry and truly become some of my biggest supporters. Your belief in me, and the many ways that you help me move in my destiny, blows my mind. Your love and support encourages me to dream big!

Buffi Holland: For taking me under wing when I felt like a fish out of water and making things happen for me. God bless you as you serve him in this new phase of ministry…your children will rise up and call you blessed!

To my mom, Skeet Savage: For filling the shoes of both mama and papa. For keeping the clamps down tight on me as an independent little kid and knowing how to loosen the clamps as I got older to let me fly without allowing me to fly into a million pieces! For inputting character into my life and teaching me to love and serve others before myself. And for continuing to be faithful to keep me accountable and in reality.

Justin: For crashing my very first interview! :) That was an evening I’ll never forget. And even though you couldn’t put a smile on my face in the photo you took of Babbie and me, you’ve done so countless times since. Who would’ve guessed all that God would bring about as a result of that first “watch this…” meeting/conversation!

Sandy R: For letting me pester you and never treating me like a pest, that means more to me than you could ever know. I’ve learned so much from you. For all you do to awaken the Church to the issues of our day… for your labor in the broad culture… for speaking the truth “whether they listen, or fail to listen”… for all these things and more, I admire you. And for taking the time out of your hectic schedule to keep in touch with a young ministry worker in Michigan, I appreciate you!

Israel: For being “the man” went it comes to the studio stuff that eludes me. I wouldn’t have been able to do a single interview without your technical assistance. I don’t take it for granted! Also, for pushing me when my feelings of insecurity or inadequacy would have kept me from amazing opportunities (i.e., Virginia Beach!).

To my sisters: For being true servants! For frequently filling the shoes of assistant, secretary (even though you won’t accept the title :) ), encourager, back massager, reality check, etc. etc, and most importantly friend. I truly could never love anyone like I love my sisters. You help me be what I am.

Elysse: Knowing you has been like realizing a dream that I never knew I had. Your passion, drive, zeal and enthusiasm are a breath of fresh air! I’m glad you’re on our (the winning) team. Brandi nailed it when she referred to us as “double trouble” - when we put our heads together we definitely have the ability to do some damage to the enemy’s kingdom! Thank you for sharing my vision and always rejoicing with me.

To everyone who has ever assisted me with an interview or accompanied me as a photographer. You know who you are, thanks for volunteering your time to come be my right arm.

AND ABOVE ALL to my Savior, Redeemer, Friend, and Lord Jesus Christ: For saving me from the futile way of life I’d inherited from my ancestors and adopting me as Your very own! (1 Peter 1:18) For empowering me by Your Holy Spirit and anointing me with Your favor. Apart from You I can do nothing, but with You I can do all things! I am of all people most blessed, and it’s all because of You!
